All bedrooms are beautifully appointed, and all are en-suite with all the modern facilities and comforts you would expect from a hotel of this quality.
Day 1 After our pick-ups we make our way to Yorkshire arriving in the afternoon at Cedar Court Hotel for our 3-night stay - relaxing evening with light entertainment.
Day 2 Today we make for the small market town of Otley, in Wharfedale. From here we enjoy an 'Emmerdale' drive taking in some of the delightful Yorkshire scenery, which you see on the TV screen. After the drive we make our way to Harrogate with free time in the delightful town with acres of parklands, superb shops, delightful cafes, including the famous Betty's. Moving on we head over the hills into Airedale and Skipton - Gateway to the Dales. We later return to the hotel to get ready for a Gala Dinner and tonight's extravaganza, the highlight of the weekend, an evening with the legendary Joe Loss Orchestra, now led by Todd Miller. 2018 is the band's 88th year and it is the longest running entertainment company of any kind. The Big Band and singers will perform hits from the 50's to the 80's.
Day 3 We start our day with a ride to West Yorkshire and Hebden Bridge, in the Calder Valley. There is time for a break here with chance for a coffee in one of the many tearooms. From here we head off over Oxenhope Moore to Haworth, with its famous cobbled Main Street. You may like to visit the Bronte Parsonage to learn all about the sisters and their notorious brother. There is time for lunch before we make our way to the station and join the famous Worth Valley Railway. Tea and biscuits are served on the train. Oakworth Station is the most famous stop on the line, having featured in the 1970 film 'The Railway Children'. Our steam train takes us to Keighley with chance to stretch your legs before we catch the return train. Re-joining the coach at Haworth we head off back to the hotel in time to relax and enjoy a drink before dinner and our final night of entertainment.
Day 4 We leave after breakfast and return on our homeward route, stopping for a short visit before arriving back in Chelmsford early evening.
