The hotel is located in 't Zand Square in the centre of Brugge, a pleasant property with a wonderful location suitable for all the markets and restaurants. A warm welcome awaits in the tastefully furnished reception area, the bedrooms are all equipped with modern facilities. There is a cosy bar and lounge or sit on the inviting terrace. There is a lift.
Day 1 Departing from your local pick up point we head for Dover for our Channel crossing to Calais. We travel to Ostende and spend a couple of hours in this seaside resort before journeying into Brugge where we stay for the next 3-nights, welcome drink on arrival. Free time to explore and find your evening meal.
Day 2 A free day to explore Brugge perhaps take a sightseeing bus around the city, buy some of the fabulous chocolates, take a boat cruise, the options are endless. Tonight is free for you to try out a local restaurant of your choice and sample the specialities Brugge has to offer.
Day 3 After a leisurely breakfast we enjoy a half day excursion to Gent. The historic heart of the city offers a lot of places of interest. From St Michaels bridge there is a wonderful view of the skyline of Gent with the three impressive towers of St Nicholas Church, the belfry with its bell tower and St Bavo's cathedral with the world famous painting 'The Adoration of the Mystic Lamb' by Jan van Eyck. Free evening to choose from the many restaurants on offer.
Day 4 Today we leave late morning and make our way back to Calais for the return Channel crossing to Dover and arrive back in Chelmsford about 8.00pm.
