The rate of 20% is applicable to Travel Insurance.

The lovely old building is perfectly complimented by large acreages of listed gardens best explored on foot.

All accommodation is included with en-suite bathroom, colour TV, hairdryer and tea/coffee making facilities. We will probably be based in the garden wing and not in the house. Access to the main building is by two newly installed covered walkways all heated and carpeted except the short frontage as you pass the entrance of the church and is all well-lit. Facilities include swimming pool, health and fitness club, pamper yourself with a massage in the health club (extra cost) or be energetic and indulge in all the outdoor activities which are on hand, bowls, archery and nightly entertainment to name but a few.
Day 1 After your local pick-ups we make our way to Somerset with suitable stops on route arriving late afternoon to check in to our hotel for the next four nights, time to settle in before dinner.
Day 2-4 We have two scenic excursions during your stay, chosen by your driver. The other day is free to enjoy the wonderful facilities of Cricket St Thomas. Historic House: The recently refurbished Historic House enjoys panoramic views across the gardens. Relax in one of the lounges or take in the history of the library. Leisure Facilities: Indoor pool, aerobics studio and fitness room. Or indulge with a choice of health & beauty treatments and a range of leisure activities. Beautiful Grounds: Recently restored and re-landscaped the lakes and gardens boast glorious vistas of one of Somerset's most beautiful valleys. Offering guests 160 acres of gardens and a rose garden maze in the shape of a rose bud. Entertainment is West End to Warner, Featuring live shows, live music and West End songs.
Day 5 We leave after breakfast and head back to Chelmsford arriving early evening.

My husband and I returned from our trip to Thursford, with a shopping break and one night in Norwich. We thoroughly enjoyed the Spectacular - it was Wonderful. Gary, our driver, was excellent and the journey there and back, plus Sherringham, great.
FINANCIAL FAILURE INSURANCE: In accordance with 'The Package Travel, Package Holidays and Package Tours Regulations 1992' all passengers booking with J. W. Lodge & Sons Limited are fully protected for the initial deposit and subsequently the balance of all the monies paid to us, including repatriation if required, arising from cancellation or curtailment of your travel arrangements due to the insolvency of J. W. Lodge & Sons Limited.
There is no requirement for Financial Protection of day trip, and none is provided. This insurance is only valid for packages booked that DO NOT include flights.
CONSUMER AWARE: Your booking is insured by IPP Ltd and its panel or insurers. This insurance is only valid for passengers who book and pay directly with/to J. W. Lodge & Sons Limited. If you have booked and/or paid direct to a Travel Agent for a holiday with ourselves please request proof of how the booking is secured as this will not be covered by IPP Ltd in this instance.
